Duke Temptasians is a co-ed a cappella group dedicated to sharing Asian culture through music. Founded in 2001, the Temptasians perform at various annual showcases, including Duke’s Lunar New Year (LNY) and UNC-Chapel Hill’s Journey into Asian (JIA)—each attracting more than a thousand people each. Satiating a diverse palette of musical tastes, the Temptasians perform anything from classic JJ Lin ballads to modern Gen Neo R&B, all the way to jazzy AKMU chart-toppers. Ultimately, the goal of Temptasians is to use music to share the various aspects of Asian culture with the rest of the Duke community.
