Duke Ballroom Dance Club

DBDC is Duke University's premier ballroom dance club and is run by our close-knit family of student dancers. We specialize in the American style of Rhythm and Smooth ballroom dances which include waltz, tango, foxtrot, viennese waltz, rumba, cha-cha, swing, and more. We host ballroom social classes twice a month which are open to everyone in the Duke community (no experience or partner required), and beginner and advanced ballroom lessons twice a week for the members of our club. Additionally, throughout the year, we compete in local, regional and national competitions, and perform in dance showcases around campus!
